Tennis players from Nadymskiy district will go to the Arctic games to Canada

The 8th All-Russian tournament on table tennis dedicated to the memory of the master of sport of the USSR Aleksey Averkin took place in Yekaterinburg. About 200 young sportspeople participated in it. Students of the children’s and youth center “Alfa” Varvara Maslova, Pavel Avramenko, Maksim Malyakin and Nikita Salnikov represented Nadymskiy district on the competitions.

By the results of the tournament, three representatives of Nadymskiy district were included to the best ten sportspeople, as the website of Nadymskiy district informs. Thus, Pavel Avramenko became the bronze prizewinner among boys of 2004-2008 years of birth among 76 sportspeople. Nikita Salnikov took the 8th place among 46 boys in his age category. Varvara Maslova took the 8th place among 54 girls. By the results of the year, exactly these sportspeople won the right to represent Yamal on the Arctic games, which will take place in Canada in 2018.
