Two centers for receiving data from the space will be created in the Arctic

Till the end of 2019 in the Arctic the Ministry for emergency situations together with Roscosmos will create two centers for receiving space data. This information was given by the director of the department of civil defense under the Ministry for emergency situations Andrey Lutoshkin. 

Work on creation of the joint centers for receiving and processing of space information on the basis of subdivisions of the Ministry for emergency situations of Russia is being conducted within the federal space program for 2016-2025 together with Roscosmos, as he says.
According to his words, such center effectively works in Murmansk, in 2017-2018 it is planned to create similar centers in Dudinka of Krasnoyarsk Krai and Anadyr in Chukotka, as RIA “Novosti” informs.
The representative of the Ministry for emergency situations notes that work of such complexes considerably will accelerate transfer to creation of the Arctic interdepartmental system of monitoring and forecasting of emergency situations.
