The round table “Labor potential of the Arctic: state and ways of development” took place in the representational office of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug at the government of the Russian Federation. The charitable Christmas action “Bright Angel” will take place in the regional capital on the 24th of December. The Salekhard eparchy and the charitable fund for support of children of Yamal “Yamine” are its organizers.

The results of the fifth open scientific and research conference for pupils and students “Stupen’ v budushcheye” (A step to the future) were summed up in Yamal. In Labytnangi it gathered about 60 schoolchildren of Yamal. 22 participants became the winners of the first, the second and the third degrees.

On the 16th of December in Tokyo within the meeting of President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe the company “Yamal LNG” signed the credit agreement with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) about allocation of a credit line in the size 200 million euro. This information was given to IA “Sever-Press” in the press-service of the company.

On the 20th-21st of December the nuclear-powered icebreaker “50 Let Pobedy” will start icebreaking support of the bulk carrier “Arktika 1” and the module carrier “Audax” going to the port of Sabetta.
