Schoolchildren of Yamal became the winners of the All-Russian Vernadsky Readings

Alexandra Kononenko, Taisia Korchak, Ilya Korchak and Alexander Yuschenko from Noviy Urengoy became the winners of the final of the 21st All-Russian Vernadsky Junior Readings, which took place in Moscow. This year they are dedicated to the 180th anniversary since birthday of Dmitriy Mendeleyev.
They were awarded with diplomas of laureates and memorable decorations «V.I. Vernadsky» for achievements in research activity and also diplomas in the nominations «The best stand», «The best presentation of work», «The best field research» and «The most active work in the section». This information was given to a correspondent of IA «Sever-Press» in the department of education of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
In total more than 500 senior pupils from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Czechia and Slovakia participated in the final. Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug was represented by 8 young researchers and 3 pedagogues from the towns Noviy Urengoy, Nadym and Yamalskiy district. Work of the readings took place on 28 subject sections on natural and humanitarian sciences. The representatives of Yamal Anton Buzlukov, Yulia Antropova, Anatoly Andriychouk and Konstantin Rudenko became the prize winners of the first degree. Alexandra Kononenko was awarded with the diploma «For vocal skills» in the contest of creative work and with the prize on support of talented youth of the second degree.
The delegation of Yamal actively participated in the environmental Olympiad «Ecological erudite» and in work of the round table on life and creative work of V.I. Vernadsky and formation of approach to life of a modern researcher. They also visited the Red Square and the sightseeing platform of Sparrow Hills (Vorobyovy Gory), visited the State Darwin Museum and the Operetta Theatre.
