The artists from Tyumen will participate in the second plain-air in Yamal, which will take place from the 25th of August to the 3rd of September.
This is one of the largest and important regional projects of cultural significance. It is an integrated activity, which includes conducting of the artistic plain-air, master-classes and the final exhibition of fine arts. The artists from Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Noyabrsk, Noviy Urengoy, Nadym, Muravlenko, Gubkinskiy and Salekhard will participate in it.
As the Distinguished Artist of the Russian Federation, the chairperson of the Tyumen branch at the Union of Artists of Russia, a member of the organizing committee of the plain-air in Yamal Alexander Novik tells, this event is always considerable and useful for the artists. They arrive from the whole country. This year the plain-air received the international status. The organizers are waiting for arrival of the foreign artists. Communication of the artists on such level is always very important. It is a new impulse to further work. Last time, as Alexander Novik notes, he made a row of landscapes and aquarelle pictures.
He was awarded with the Grand-Prix of the first plain-air in Yamal. The artist gave a present to the regional museum of Shemanovskiy – his 4 works presented on the final exhibition. As the agency «Tyumenskaya Linia» informs, this year Alexander Novik also wants to work much – nature of Yamal inspires creative people. The artists are suggested working in the most picturesque places of the Polar Urals. This plain-air will work in the village Khanty-Muzhi of Shuryshkarskiy district, in Gornoknyazevsk and Kharp of Priuralskiy district.
The artists see plain-air painting as a special kind of art. They create art-works in the open air, in nature and can catch its state in a definite moment of time. The plain-air in Yamal is conducted for support and popularization of professional fine arts in the region and in the Russian Federation within the state regional program «The basic directions of development of culture in the autonomous region for 2014-2020».
