Influence of western sanctions will be discussed in Moscow on the Arctic oil and gas week

The conferences «Yamal & Kara Sea Oil & Gas», «Timan-Pechora Barents Sea Oil & Gas» and «The Northern Sea Route: Arctic oil & gas logistics» will take place in Moscow within the Arctic oil and gas week on the 1st-3rd of October.
As the organizers of the oil and gas week note, every year the Arctic is integrated more actively into world political and economical processes. With the tendency to decreasing of reserves of light oil, specialists express bigger interest exactly to energy potential of the arctic region. How the work on development of the Arctic will be continued in light of the sanction policy of the West directed against Russia, as one of the most influential participants in the region, is the question, which requires for discussion. The first persons of oil and gas branch, analysts, representatives of scientific community will present their vision of overcoming of this crisis within the general plenary session of the week dedicated to the Russian Arctic on the global energy map.
As IA «Arktika-Info» informs, among other topics of oil and gas week there are the following: challenges and breakthroughs in development of basic arctic extractive fields of Russia on the territory of Timan-Pechora, Yamal, the Barents Sea and the Kara Sea; sea and continental infrastructure; arctic LNG-projects of Russia, Norway, the USA; the role of the Northern Sea Route in development of resources of the Arctic; ecological and industrial security of the Arctic.
More than 150 delegates will participate in the action.
