The director general of the company «Severneftegazprom» Stanislav Tsygankov spoke within the first plenary session of the 22nd International technological congress on new technologies of gas, oil industry, energy and communication. It is taking place in Kaliningrad.
He told about inculcation of innovative technical decisions to production at exploration and development of Turonian gas deposit of the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil, gas, condensate field situated in Krasnoselkoup district of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. As he notes, innovations being used in the process of inculcation of complex of scientific and technical decisions on gas extraction from Turonian deposit of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field will be used at their development in the whole Western-Siberian region.
According to the information given to IA «Sever-Press» in the office on relations with bodies of the power and public relations of the company «Severneftegazprom», gas extraction from Turonian gas deposit was started for the first time in Russia in April of 2012. Extraction was fulfilled with an experimental well with two bottomholes. A well with one bottomhole was drilled to Turonian deposit in the field this February in conformity with recommendations of the design institute.
Turonian reserves are hard to extract. They contain 95 percent of methane and have no heavy admixtures. The depth makes 800-850 meters. Specifics of such deposits are in anomalously high pressure of a layer, low temperatures of a layer, heterogeneity and variability in lithological composition, low permeability of reservoirs.
Chiefs of the largest energy companies, representatives of the power and scientific community are participating in the technological congress. The action is dedicated to new technologies of fulfillment of the largest oil-gas and energy projects of the 21st century on the basis of ecologically pure technologies. Among them there are such issues as production of liquefied natural gas, development of sea shelves, development of sources of energy non-traditional for Russia such as shale gas and Turonian gas, gas hydrates, coal bed methane and others. The congress was organized by the academy of technological sciences of the Russian Federation, the company «Gazprom», the government of Kaliningrad Oblast, the company «Gas-Oil» and the international academy of technological sciences.
