The theme of her report is: «Whether Western Siberia was «the backyard of the world» before the arrival of the Russians». Integrated researches of archeologists of Yamal speak about so that since ancient time inhabitants of Yamal had formed regional systems of economy and everyday life, and trade with neighboring peoples assisted to development of economy, culture and society. By the 13th century population of the territory taken now by modern Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug was included into the north-European «unified market». Thus, a version about isolation and total retardation of economy of this land, in the opinion of scientists, is a myth. Natalia Fyodorova is going to dispel it.
