Arctic regions will sign agreements about cooperation within Murmansk Business Week

The third Murmansk International Business Week is opened. It is planned that within the forum Russian arctic regions – Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Murmansk Oblast, Archangelsk Oblast, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Chukotka, Republic of Karelia, Sakha and Komi – will sign agreements about cooperation, as it is informed on the website murman.tv.
The program of the business week includes about 20 conferences, exhibitions, seminars and round tables dedicated to development of northern territories, sea transport infrastructure and ship building, tourism, support of business initiatives, preservation of arctic nature, international and interregional cooperation.
The basic activities will start from the plenary session «Following the Arctic course». Also the international conference «Arctic Shelf Development: Step by Step» will take place in Murmansk. Its participants will discuss development of fields of the Norwegian Sea, the Barents Sea, the Pechora Sea and the Kara Sea. The round table on international cooperation at liquidation of accidental oil spills in the Arctic, the conference on oil and gas branch: the course to import substitution and localization and also the scientific and practical round table on reagents and technologies of their use in processes of intensification of oil extraction will take place on the 19th of November.
As we should note, more than 200 companies of oil and gas sector, companies-providers of oil and gas industry, scientific and research institutes, educational institutions, representatives of legislative and executive power participate in Murmansk International Business Week every year.
