More than 1 milliard and 500 million rubles are allocated in Yamal for support of agricultural producers

The region will continue supporting of agricultural producers. This information was given by the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin in his annual report about state of affairs in the region.
As the head of the region notes, every year about 1 milliard and 500 million rubles are allocated for this aim. Subsidies for purchase of animals and support of farmers-beginners were allocated this year for the first time. Grants for northern reindeer husbandry and fishery were founded. It was decided to create a kind of reserve of food safety in the region, considering seasonal difficulties with delivery of goods and products to the town Salekhard and transport problems. The work shop on processing of venison was opened in the town. It is planned to input to operation the work shop on processing of milk. The livestock breeding complex is ready to input to operation in the settlement Aksarka. Building of the greenhouse complex will allow growing up to 150 tons of vegetables on protected ground and providing inhabitants of the capital of Yamal and neighboring municipalities with fresh vegetables. Till 2020 it is planned to build greenhouses in the towns Gubkinskiy, Noviy Urengoy, Nadym, Muravlenko and Noyabrsk. As the governor underlines, it needs to continue coastal and marine fishing in the Kara Sea, what will allow increasing amounts of fishing from 9 thousand tons to 12 thousand tons.
Development of milk cattle breeding, potatoes growing and vegetables growing will be continued in one row with traditional branches. As Dmitriy Kobylkin notes, the first results speak about its potential. During three years production of milk increased on 12.5 percent. Since 2010 areas of potatoes growing have increased on 50 percent and make today 37 hectares. During this period of time harvest of potatoes grew almost on 20 percent.
