The unmanned flying vehicle «Geoscan» became the winner of the contest «Innovative Arctic»

Within the interregional forum in the town Gubkinskiy the expert committee named the winners of the contest «Innovative Arctic».
The first place was given to the unmanned flying vehicle «Geoscan» made by engineers from Saint-Petersburg. This is a unified complex on collecting, processing and reflecting of information. It consists of components of Russian production on 90 percent. The second place was given to biological oil destructors from Yakutia. Oil-oxidizing bacteria made in the company «SakhaNefteBioSorb» effectively struggle against polluting of environment in conditions of permafrost. The third place was given to the universal anti-icer on the basis of fluoropolymers made in the Tomsk company «Multifunctional systems». This information was given to IA «Sever-Press» in the press-service of the governor of Yamal.
The winners were selected by the principle of the opportunity of quick and effective inculcation of projects in Yamal and other arctic regions of the country. According to the words of the director of the department on science and innovations of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Aleksey Titovskiy, the unmanned flying vehicle «Geoscan» can be successfully used within ecological expeditions to Beliy Island. Its technical potential allows using the unmanned flying vehicle in search for polluted areas of the island and also for 3D modeling.
In total 172 applications were received for participation in the contest of projects «Innovative Arctic». Only 7 projects reached the final. The bigger part of the projects was directed to decrease of anthropogenic impact on environment, solving of some branch problems appearing at development of natural resources, inculcation of new technologies in northern fulfillment into urban economy.
