On the day of celebration of the anniversary of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin gave literary prizes of the governor. Vitaliy Lozovich became the winner in the nomination «Documentary prose». Specialists note his bright artistic talent and skills of a prose writer.
A poet, a translator and a publicist Lidia Gladkaya received the prize in the nomination «Poetry». Her translations from a Nenets writer Leonid Laptsuy deserved special attention of the jury. Anna Nerkagi became the winner in the nomination «Regional ethnography, journalism, scientific and popular literature». As the presenter of the awarding ceremony notes, in her new book the author thinks about the course of life, demonstrates her own vision of events happening in the world. This is her view from the depth of centuries, wise and, as always, open minded.
In their speeches Lidia Gladkaya read her poem dedicated to Salekhard, Anna Nerkagi thanked the governor for the opportunity of creative work, in her opinion, an author, having no such opportunity, stops living. As she says, Yamal is a rich region, probably, it is important that it should be rich with creative persons working for wellbeing of Yamal.
Dmitriy Kobylkin expressed gratitude to all the awarded participants. He told about his presence on the demonstration of the film «The White Yagel» made on the basis of novels by Anna Nerkagi. The governor agrees to the producer Vladimir Menshov, who says that the main task for the region is to protect small peoples and for them — not to lose themselves. As Dmitriy Kobylkin notes it was said right. As he notes, maybe, the time will come and exactly indigenous people will teach others how to survive on this land; heroes of the northern authors look far into the future, when the world changes much.
