Starting with 2008, this municipal enterprise delivered more than 2000 tons of meat to countries of the EU. This year the total amount of sales made 420 tons, as it is informed to IA «Sever-Press» in the press-service of the governor of Yamal.
The complex in Yuribey started working last autumn. It consists of a slaughter work shop, a refrigerator (for 100 tons), a hostel with functions of a household complex, three anti-fire reservoirs with water, a corral, a diesel electric power station and a platform for containers. Its production rate makes 200 deer per one shift. The refrigerator is situated near the slaughter work shop; the corral for animals is connected with the slaughter complex by means of a platform and a ramp to raise animals. Modules of special design being used at building of the complex allow fulfilling modern process on slaughtering, processing and storing of products in districts very close to cattle farms. The complex was designed specially for pasture-fed animals.
In addition to the production modules there are rooms for personnel. They are designed with consideration of international hygienic requirements and equipped with everything necessary for work and rest.
On the enterprise there is a room of a chief and a veterinarian, a technical compartment, which includes electric equipment, refrigerating equipment and boilers for water heating. Transportation of products is fulfilled through the terminal.
As we should note, inclusion of the complex in Yuribey to the list of exporters to the EU became possible owing to joint work of Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision) and the veterinary service of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
