The participants of the international cultural and educational action «Museum compass» came back to Salekhard after the week-long trip to Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The trip was organized by the regional Museum-exhibition complex of Shemanovskiy.
The head of the office of design and innovative activity at the Museum-exhibition complex Anastasia Kadysheva, the curator of the project told about it on the press-conference. As she reminds, the project started in 2010. It was called «The week in the museum». During 4 years its participants cooperated with North Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus and Germany. This year the children went to Dusseldorf with the return visit to their coevals, who had been in Yamal in spring of the previous year and acquainted to its culture and traditions and later had communicated with the children from Salekhard on the festival in Sevastopol.
According to the words of Anastasia Kadysheva, the participants of the trip received the Christmas present from Russian-speaking children residing in Germany. Their parents emigrated there from different parts of the Soviet Union but passed knowledge of native language and traditions of Russian culture to their children. There were not any barriers in communication.
As the curator of the project tells that «The Museum compass» is supported by the department of culture, the department of international and economic relations of Yamal and the integration center «Akzeptanz, Vertrauen, Perspektive» (Acceptance, Trust, Perspective) founded by Sergey Arunin.
The children shared their impressions with the journalists. They told about peculiarities of architecture and nature of the countries, where they had been, about their most favorite museums and sights. All the participants of the project marked hospitality, cordiality and friendliness of their German coevals. Anastasia Kadysheva assures that the project «Museum compass» will be continued.
