As we should note, during the latest years Yamal proved itself as a worthy platform for conducting of large international forums, especially dedicated to themes of the Arctic, ecological security, oil and gas extraction and, of course, indigenous ethnic minorities.

The delegates of the congress and also representatives of the United Nations Organization, the Arctic Council, northern aboriginal organizations, scientists and experts were busy with elaboration of the public strategy of development of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North.
