Yamal and Murmansk Oblast: cooperation from the Northern Sea Route to northern reindeer husbandry

The delegation of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug headed by the governor Dmitriy Kobylkin is working in Murmansk.
As we should note, the work is formed on several blocks with the aim as full as possible to get acquainted to experience of work of Murmansk Oblast in different spheres of life activity.
The first group concentrated attention on development of transport infrastructure and issues of cooperation in development of transportations on the Northern Sea Route. The vice-governor of Yamal Irina Sokolova, deputies of the head of Yamal Alexander Mazharov and Natalia Figol, representatives of the company «Yamaltransstroi» and others participated in the sitting of the round table on issues of fulfillment of projects on development of port infrastructure and the Northern Sea Route.
The second group headed by a deputy governor of Yamal Tatiana Buchkova visited the regional perinatal center. Special significance of the center is in giving birth, reanimating and further nursing of newborns with extremely low weight (500-999 grams) and other children born prematurely or with inborn pathologies. Tatiana Buchkova highly evaluated system of organizing of work in the perinatal center. She reviewed the building, modern equipment, spoke with doctors and told about specifics of work of medical employees in Yamal.
The director of the department of agro-industrial complex, trade and foodstuff of Yamal Vyacheslav Kucherenko participated in work of the round table on discussion of development of agro-industrial complex and preservation of traditional kinds of economy of indigenous peoples of the Far North. The guests also learnt about high-technological programs of the Murmansk regional innovative business-incubator. The sides agreed about elaboration of mutually profitable projects, which, probably, will be fulfilled jointly.
Within the extended conference on issues of development of cooperation between Yamal and Murmansk Oblast the governors confirmed intentions to activate joint work on all directions. As the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs, Dmitriy Kobylkin notes that today joint work and consolidation of all efforts are extremely important.
As the governor of Murmansk Oblast notes, in this situation development and strengthening of interregional relations received more important significance. Each arctic region has its own specifics. Each region has its unrepeatable competitive advantages, but only in interaction with each other, in joint efforts it is possible to solve set tasks in issues of fulfillment of national interests of Russia in the Arctic, as the governor of Murmansk Oblast Marina Kovtun says.
