The program on ethno-cultural development made in Yamal was recognized one of the best in Russia

The sitting of the commission on contest selection of regional programs took place in the Ministry for culture of Russia.

The commission included representatives of the Ministry for culture, the presidential administration and the government of the Russian Federation and also members of the council at the president on cross-national relations.

The talk was about giving subsidies from the federal budget on the federal targeted program «Strengthening of unity of the Russian nation and ethno-cultural development of peoples of Russia».
Requests were evaluated on the 100-points scale. More than 60 requests from regions were scrutinized. The expert analysis of their quality was conducted, the rating was calculated. According to the results of the contest selection, 43 regions were recognized the winners. The total amount of subsidies in 2015 will make 338 million and 400 thousand rubles.
As the press-service of the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the rating of requests defined the first 10 winners. The integrated program of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug «Strengthening of unity of the Russian nation and ethno-cultural development of peoples in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in 2014-2020» was recognized one of the best. It already works. This important document is directed, first of all, to fulfillment of the Strategy of the state national policy of the Russian Federation till 2025 approved in the decree of the president of the Russian Federation in 2012.
The experts confirm that Yamal can serve an example of harmonious development of cross-national relations. A sense of community and civic solidarity, a desire to preserve cultural and moral traditions of different peoples are characteristic for the region.
