Arctic projects will give unique opportunities to Tyumen Oblast

The Northern Latitudinal Railway and the Northern Sea Route are the big chance for Tyumen Oblast. It was said by the head of the region Vladimir Yakushev within the direct broadcasting of the television channel «Tyumenskoye Vremya» (Tyumen Time).

As he notes, arctic projects are extremely important for development not only of Tyumen Oblast but also Russia, in general. If to scrutinize the port of Sabetta and the opportunity to reach it from Tobolsk and Tyumen by river, then the south of Tyumen Oblast receives unique opportunities, as Vladimir Yakushev says. Tyumen Oblast is a large logistic center connecting northern neighbors, as people used to say, with «the big land». But the new prospect opens super-opportunities to become more modern center, to create bigger number of working places. It means taxable base and large prospects.
In the answer to a journalist from Yamal the governor notes that Tyumen Oblast is actively involved into fulfillment of the project on creation of the Northern Latitudinal Railway and will continue participating in it. «The Corporation of Development» fulfills the project. Tyumen Oblast is also involved in it. The serious historic event took place this year – the bridge across the Nadym River was input to operation. It created absolutely new prospects both for travelling of inhabitants of Yamal to the territory of the south of Tyumen Oblast and for traffic of cargoes, big amounts of which are transported. The big infrastructural object was built. One of subdivisions of the company «Mostostroy-1» became the basic performer of the order.
