Aleksey Sitnikov: The Northern Sea Route finds the second breath

As the secretary of the regional branch of the party «Yedinaya Rossiya» Aleksey Sitnikov gave his comments on the message of the President of Russia to the Federal Assembly. As he notes, Vladimir Putin gave the correct message on development of the Northern Sea Route.

Today in Yamal this is a vital topic. It is planned to fulfill long-term, colossal projects connected with the Northern Sea Route. The port of Sabetta was built. Soon it will become the multifunctional port that opens the gates of the Arctic. Now it is possible to say already with confidence that this transport corridor finds the second breath. One million and 133 thousand tons of cargoes, basically building materials, went through Sabetta in 2014. This year positive tendency on Sabetta is kept, and even considerable increase in amounts of transportations is supposed on the end of the year. Attention of the President to this issue is a good sign. It allows hoping that the project «The Northern Latitudinal Railway» will be fulfilled. It is so necessary to Yamal and the country. Besides, the words of the head of the state about support of families, development of competitive business environment and other important issues were presented confidently, as Aleksey Sitnikov says.
