Communities of young representatives of the North will be created by the results of the forum in Moscow

In Moscow the participants of the forum «Russian North» are discussing issues of development of the youth movement of indigenous ethnic minorities of the Russian Federation. The program includes several thematic platforms, project and creative sessions of the participants, the presentation of the project «The Atlas of peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation». Also it is planned to conduct interactive games and work of the youth creative workshop.

A deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Grigory Ledkov answered questions of journalists. He focused attention on so that priority development of the youth movement within the association was defined in 2013 on the congress of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North. «We were coming to it during long time. And became more and more convinced that new leaders were necessary. Today we understand to where and to what we are coming, and we shall work in this direction. We should form the program of actions and create the council of the youth», as he declared.
The forum «Russian North» will last till the 8th of December. The youth council of the Russian Association of Indigenous Peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East will be created by the results of this work. Also communities of young representatives of the North able to consolidate efforts for solving of socially significant issues of northern regions of the country will be formed. It is planned to organize the pilot youth resource center in one of regions of the North, Siberia and the Far East.
