In Nadym the tournament on boxing gathered the strongest sportspeople from eight countries

The junior tournament on boxing in the memory of the first director general of Nadymgazprom Vladislav Strizhov was finished in Nadym. About 100 sportspeople from 35 Russian towns and also from Israel, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Lithuania and Belarus participated in it.

The Olympic champions Shamil Sabirov, Vyacheslav Yanovskiy and Oleg Saitov became the honored guests of the tournament.
During 4 days of the competitions the sportspeople conducted 75 fights for 20 sets of awards. The representatives of Nadym became the leaders of the non-official team ranking, having won 7 golden medals and 5 silver medals.
The director general of «Gazprom dobycha Nadym» Sergey Menshikov thanked the participants of the competitions on the closing ceremony. «I think it was a good holiday. I express gratitude to all sportspeople and coaches, who arrived from faraway, to all organizers of the tournament, to our honored guests. Communication with you, your support and pieces of advice are very important for children-sportspeople».
