The government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and «Gazprom Neft» signed the agreement about cooperation

In Saint Petersburg the governor of Yamal Dmitriy Kobylkin and the chairperson of the board of «Gazprom Neft» Alexander Dyukov signed the agreement about partnership for 2016-2020 between the government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and «Gazprom Neft».

The sides confirmed the intention to extend mutually profitable cooperation for further development of the economy, improvement of investment climate of the region, support of socioeconomic projects and coordination of efforts on creation of favorable conditions for exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons on the territory of the region.
«Gazprom Neft» fulfills the full-scale investment program on development of arctic territories on land and on the shelf of the region. The beginning of industrial exploitation of Novoportovskoye field and Messoyakha group of fields in 2016 positively will influence on financial stability and prospects of development of the region and considerably will support accompanying large and medium-sized business. New extracting enterprises will create additional working places in Yamal and will increase tax allocations to the local budget.
«Gazprom Neft» will continue fulfillment of the program of social investments «Native Towns» in Yamal. During the validity period of the agreement the company will finance building of objects of sports and educational infrastructure: multifunctional sports complexes in the towns Noyabrsk and Salekhard, the Ice Arena in the town Labytnangi, a swimming-pool and a school in Purovskiy district, an educational complex in the town Muravlenko and others.
Effective activity of «Gazprom Neft» on the territory of Yamal allows working together for prospect of development of the region. Projects of the company not only stimulate production and scientific potential but also really assist to improvement of social climate in the region. The signed agreement is a next stage of mutually profitable and many-year cooperation between the region and the company, as the governor Dmitriy Kobylkin underlines. He marked special significance of the event in connection with the forthcoming 85th anniversary of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug is a strategic partner of «Gazprom Neft». The company is completing creation of the new large center for extraction of hydrocarbons in the region. Large size of unique projects on industrial development of northern territories directly influences on life of the region and allows Yamal to develop, improving quality of life, as Alexander Dyukov says.
