The health center of Nadym was recognized the best in Russia

The international scientific and practical forum «Russian Health Care Week 2015» and the fifth international forum on prevention from non-communicable diseases and on forming of healthy lifestyle «For healthy life» took place in Moscow.

The winners of the contest for the best health center of the country were awarded within the forum. This title was given to the health center of the town Nadym. It works at the regional center for medical prevention.
According to the information given to a correspondent of IA «Sever-Press» by the press-secretary of the regional department of health care Olga Shulyak, in 2009 the health center of Nadym started a new stage in development of preventive health care in Yamal. It became the basis for creation of the center for medical prevention in the region that today it is the leader of the system of prevention health care in Yamal.
The health center of Nadym was opened the first not only in Yamal but also in Russia. It was created at once when the government of the country decided to start up the big state program on forming of healthy lifestyle «Healthy Russia», as the director of the department of health care of Yamal Nikolay Vinokurov notes.
Specialists of high class work in the health center of Nadym. Patients can visit 6 candidates and one doctor of sciences, physicians and nurses of highest category. During 6 years of successful work they examined and consulted more than 20 thousand people, more than 50 thousand people of Yamal were educated to bases of healthy lifestyle. More than 120 visiting medical examinations of inhabitants of remote settlements were conducted. The travelling complex of consultations and diagnostics has started working since this September in the region on the basis of a bus.
Since the very beginning the specialists of the center elaborated the complex of potentially new preventive activities with consideration of specifics of the region and suggested to use them in practice. They include various kinds of visiting work on enterprises and in organizations of the town, in schools and higher education institutions, places of mass visiting and remote settlements. The specialists are aimed at work with different categories of population but especially with young generation. They cooperate with volunteers and conduct big amount of activities for schoolchildren. Today 4 health centers work in Yamal – in Salekhard, Nadym, Noyabrsk and Noviy Urengoy. All medical examinations in the centers are conducted free of charge.
