Dmitriy Kobylkin told Valentina Matviyenko about development of Yamal

The working meeting of the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin and the chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko took place in Salekhard. The head of the region informed the chairperson of the upper house of the parliament about socioeconomic development and basic points of growth in economy of Yamal.

In particular, the talk was about forming of transport infrastructure of the arctic zone of the Russian Federation. Dmitriy Kobylkin told Valentina Matviyenko about fulfillment of the project «Northern Latitudinal Railway». As he reminds, the motor-road part of the bridge across the Nadym River was opened on the 12th of September. It costs 14 milliard and 500 million rubles. The bridge is being built at own expenses of the region. This bridge is a key element of the Northern Latitudinal Railway. The speaker of the Federation Council was interested in all aspects of this project, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs.
After that Valentina Matviyenko, Dmitriy Kobylkin and the presidential envoy in Ural Federal Okrug Igor Kholmanskikh visited the exhibition of the regional project «Coevals of Yamal». It presents archive photographs and information about activities being conducted to the jubilee date.
Valentina Matviyenko wrote comments with good wishes to the jubilee of the arctic region and put them into a special mailbox. As we should remind, the project «Coevals of Yamal» was initiated by the Youth government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. It is being conducted for popularization of contribution of enterprises and inhabitants to formation and development of the region. The honored guests marked significance and scales of the conducted activities.
