Representatives of Yamal will participate in the festival of ice sculptures «Europe-Asia»

The traditional festival of ice sculpture «Europe-Asia» will take place in Yekaterinburg.

Nine teams from different regions of Russia, including Yamal, will participate in it. Usually teams include not less than 2 people. According to the information given to a correspondent of IA «Sever-Press» in the press-service of the administration of Yekaterinburg, this year the ice sculptures will be dedicated to Russian folk fairy-tales, the second theme is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Ural rock-club. For their works the sculptors will choose one of these themes.
Everything is ready for the festival, materials for sculptures – large ice cubes have been already brought to the central square of Yekaterinburg. Further work depends on weather.
It is also planned to conduct the press-tour for journalists. The sculptors should finish working on the 28th of December. Winners of the festival will be announced on that day.
