The delegation of Yamal will participate in the tourist forum in Saint Petersburg

The international tourist forum is taking place in Saint Petersburg. Experts on tourism from 75 Russian regions and 25 countries of the world are participating in it. Yamal is being represented by the delegation from Purovskiy district, which includes representatives of the board of youth policy and tourism.

This information was given to a correspondent of IA «Sever-Press» in the regional department of youth policy and tourism.
The activity will take place during three days in the main headquarters of the Hermitage. Within the forum the participants will discuss general problems of the branch, including issues of innovations, transport and import substitution, development of tourism in federal regions of Russia. Agreements will be signed, and innovative projects on development of tourism in Russia will be presented – Visit Russia and Welcome to Russia.
As we should note, Yamal in translation from Nenets language means «The edge of the world». This is a northern pearl of Russia, where natural beauty and century traditions of nomadic peoples are amazingly combined. Everyone, who once visited the arctic region, dreams to come back again. Ethnographic, extreme and ecological tourism became the basic activities of interest in the region claiming for popularity far beyond Siberia and Russia.
