The presentation of Yamal is taking place in Kirgizia and Uzbekistan

The presentations of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug are taking place in Bishkek of the Republic of Kirgizia and in Tashkent of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the 18th to 22nd of December in Russian centers for science and culture. The activities are being conducted for extension of international relations of the arctic region.

According to the information given by the press-service of the governor of Yamal, the exhibition of works by photographers of Yamal and the exposition stand dedicated to the region will become the basis of the presentation. The performance of the singer of the regional Center for national cultures Angelika Kulmametova is included to the program. The repertoire includes Russian folk songs and musical compositions about Yamal. Also the program includes demonstration of video materials about Yamal.
Besides, it includes the presentation of the regional program of resettlement of compatriots to Russia. It will be presented by an employee of the department of international and external economic relations of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug – the plenipotentiary executive body of the state power of the arctic region on fulfillment of the program.
As we should note, representatives of the diplomatic corps, organizations of compatriots and Russian-speaking community of Kirgizia and Uzbekistan, activists of youth movements, art historians and cultural workers are participating in the activities.
