«Gazprom Neft Noviy Port» was renamed into «Gazpromneft – Yamal»

The company «Gazprom Neft Novy Port» was renamed into «Gazpromneft – Yamal». As the press-service of «Gazprom Neft» informs, changing the name of the affiliated company is connected with the strategy of «Gazprom Neft» that foresees increase in hydrocarbon extraction in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

«Gazpromneft – Yamal» develops Novoportovskoye oil, gas, condensate field and creates infrastructure on offloading of hydrocarbons in the north of the Yamal peninsula. The enterprise is registered in Salekhard. Now oil of Novoportovskoye field is delivered to the coast of the Gulf of Ob along the pressure oil pipeline with the length 100 kilometers. Building of its second stage was started this January. Its startup will provide transportation of not less than 5 million and 500 thousand tons of oil per year.
Since next year raw materials will be offloaded with help of the remote arctic loading tower that is situated on water areas of the Gulf of Ob. The new brand of oil that received the name Novy Port is referred to the category of light hydrocarbons with low content of sulfur.
Novoportovskoye field is one of the largest oil gas condensate fields being developed in Yamal. Extractable reserves on the category C1 and C2 make more than 250 million tons of oil and condensate and also more than 320 milliard cubic meters of gas with consideration of Paleozoic deposits.
