The unique parade of flags will take place at the North Pole

The second stage of the international high-latitude polar expedition «Open Arctic» will take place this April.

Last year flags were delivered to the Russian drifting scientific and research station «The North Pole 2015» for conducting of the unprecedented public patriotic action dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
At the North Pole it is planned to demonstrate the largest flag of Russia, flags of regions, towns and socially responsible companies of the country. The unique parade of flags was transferred to this year because of worsening of weather conditions last year.
Organizing of the expedition «Arctic 2015» received approval of the administration of the Russian President and the Ministry for foreign affairs of the Russian Federation about conducting of the second stage of the polar expedition with visiting of the ice station «The North Pole». Representatives of 10 countries-participants of the Victory Parade on the Red Square this year will be included to the delegation of the second stage of the international expedition «Open Arctic 2016».
