This year Russian oil companies do not plan to decrease oil extraction. As the minister for energy Alexander Novak says, in spite of low prices, it is possible that some projects will be postponed, but ones that were started will be fulfilled.
As he notes, in the end of last year and now companies speak about keeping of amounts of extraction on the level of 2015, as IA «Interfax» informs.
Exploitation drilling is conducted anyway at existing low prices, and those projects, to which funds were invested, will be continued and completed. There are no data about closing of projects, as he notes.
At that, he does not exclude that companies will review their investment programs, but the ministry for energy does not have such information yet.
