The terms of building of the LNG-plant on the Gydan peninsula will be defined in 2016.
At the present time NOVATEK fulfills the project “Yamal LNG” that supposes development of the South-Tambey field and building of the LNG-plant with the capacity 16 million and 500 thousand tons of LNG and 1 million tons of gas condensate per year. The South-Tambey gas condensate field with reserves in 926 milliard cubic meters is resource base. The total cost of the project makes 26 milliard and 900 million dollars. It is planned to start up the first stage of the plant in 2017.
For the end of this February readiness of the object made 45%. In the project “Yamal LNG” NOVATEK owns 60%, CNPC – 20% and Total – 20%.
