In the regional National library doctor of philological sciences Natalia Tsymbalistenko opened the cycle of lectures on ethnology and literature of people of the North. This is already the second cycle of lectures “Living word”. Natalia Tsymbalistenko dedicated her first lecture this year to traditions and innovation in novels by Anna Nerkagi.
On the materials of “Molchaschiy” (“A silent man”), “The White Yagel”, “Aniko of Nogo Family” the lecturer underlined the basic ideas passing through the whole creative work of the author. These are permanent conflicts of human life: good and evil, love and hate, relations in a family.
Doctor of sciences presented a new book by Anna Nerkagi “Pesni Tvortsu” (“Songs for the Creator”) that includes the novel “Molchaschiy” and legends of peoples of the North. The listeners got acquainted to Nenets riddles and proverbial signs published by the writer for nomadic schools.
According to the information given by Natalia Tsymbalistenko to a correspondent of IA “Sever-Press”, the employees of the scientific center for study of the Arctic will read lectures on ethnology and literature of peoples of the North every month, except summer.
Thus, the head of the sector of ethnology, candidate of historical sciences Galina Kharyuchi will tell about traditions and innovations in culture of Nenets ethnos, sacred places in traditional and modern culture of Nenets people, will touch upon other important things.
Natalia Tsymbalistenko will present experience and will outline problems in organizing and managing of ethno-cultural education of nomadic schools. Also she will characterize literature of Yamal of the end of the 19th – the beginning of 21st century and will dedicate her lecture to poetry and prose by Roman Rugin.
