Tankers will start delivering gas from Yamal to France

From Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug tankers will deliver liquefied natural gas to France, the town Brittany (Bretagne).
The large terminal “Montoir” will start receiving Russian gas carriers. The corresponding contract was signed by the Russian company “Novatek Gas & Power” and the French company “Elengy”. According to the conditions of the agreement, one million tons of LNG per year will be delivered to the French terminal from Russia. It is planned to achieve for this level in 2018.
The companies agreed about deliveries of 14 consignments per year.
As we should remind, last June the trader of NOVATEK “Novatek Gas & Power” signed the long-term contract with the French company “Engie” for delivery of liquefied natural gas from “Yamal LNG” that owns 60% of the project. It was concluded for 23 years. The Russian company will deliver 23 million tons of LNG or about 30 milliard cubic meters to “Engie” during this time, as it is informed on the portal sudostroenie.info.
