Journalists and bloggers visited the rotation village Yamburg

Journalists of federal mass media visited social and production objects of the company “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg”. They saw the village for rotation workers — Yamburg. The guests were given an excursion to the second gas deposit, where they got acquainted with process of extraction of blue fuel.
In addition, the participants of the expedition saw living conditions of the workers. They were surprised that the village has perfect conditions for life – comfortable houses, good infrastructure, a winter garden. The guests were also impressed with roads. “I thought there are no roads here, but it was not so”, as Alexander Pikulenko, a journalist of the radio station “Mayak” shared his impressions. The participants of the expedition visited “merzlotnik” (the natural refrigerator in permafrost) and drove on the snow-covered Gulf of Ob. Ahead the travelers have kilometers of difficult northern roads, new towns and settlements of Yamal, as the service on public relations and communication with mass media of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” informs.
This trip took place within the project “Discovering Russia” that had started in 2013. It is taking place in the format of journalistic travels by cars around remote and interesting regions of Russia. The aim is to tell the mass audience about sights, natural and cultural wealth of Russia. Eighteen motor-expeditions across the country were conducted during three years. The organizers decided to conduct the trip in Yamal. It was started in Noviy Urengoy. Twenty-four participants by eight off-road vehicles went to conquer the North. They include journalists, bloggers and the organizers of the event.
