The governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin is participating in the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.
The head of Yamal is planning to conduct meetings with representatives of big business, bodies of the power, communication with mass media. In particular, it is planned to conduct the working meeting with the authorities of the company “Gazprom Neft”, on which actions on environmental security of the Arctic zone of Russia will be synchronized, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs.
The Russian investment forum is the main business event for presentation of investment and economic potential of Russia. This year about 4000 people are its participants. The forum in Sochi traditionally gathers representatives of bodies of the power, including ministers of key sectors of national economy, heads of large domestic and foreign companies, Russian governors, representatives of business and scientific circles, public associations, mass media. Heads of foreign companies from Austria, Afghanistan, Great Britain, Germany, Kazakhstan, the USA, France, Switzerland and Japan have already confirmed their participation in the event.
The theme “New Projects for Growth” is basic for this year forum. The two-day business program includes 27 events, including the plenary session with participation of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. He will hold a meeting of the Presidium of the council under the President of the Russian Federation for strategic development and priority projects with participation of heads of Russian regions.
The Ministry for economic development, the Ministry for industry and trade, the Ministry for energy, the Federal Agency for youth Affairs, the Federal Agency for tourism, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the administration of Krasnodar region, “Delovaya Rossiya”, “Russian Export Center”, the Agency for strategic initiatives, OPORA ROSSII and others are participating actively in preparation of the sessions.
