Dmitriy Kobylkin: System-forming centers of oil and gas extraction are being created in Yamal

In Salekhard the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin conducted the working meeting with the deputy director general of the company “Transneft-Siberia” Sergey Smetanyuk.

On behalf of the authorities of the head company “Transneft” Sergey Smetanyuk expressed the words of gratitude to the head of the arctic region for assistance from the side of bodies of the state power and local self-government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in fulfillment of the investment project of building of the oil pipeline “Zapolyarye-Purpe”. Also he gave the memorable book “Under the Polar Star” to the governor. The book was published by Transneft to the significant date of startup of the trunk oil pipeline. It reflects all stages of creation of this unique object. The information was given to IA “Sever-Press” in the press-service of the governor of Yamal.
As Dmitriy Kobylkin notes, today system-forming centers of oil and gas extraction are being created in Yamal on the basis of large extractive fields. In these conditions the startup of the new oil-transporting system became a remarkable event. The whole time of building was accompanied with close cooperation with bodies of the power of the region and with representatives of indigenous ethnic minorities of Yamal, what allowed achieving for mutual understanding on all appearing issues. The keystone of success is in cooperation of the sides for wellbeing of the region and people residing in the region, as Dmitriy Kobylkin underlines.
