The All-Russian Arctic forum. Thirty five delegates will represent Yamal

Preparations to the All-Russian Arctic forum are taking place in Yamal. It will be conducted in Salekhard from the 23rd to the 25th of March. The program of the forum was formed. It foresees discussion of important topics of life activity of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North, Siberia and the Far East of Russia.

Candidatures of moderators and experts of discussion grounds are being discussed; basic suggestions into the project of the resolution are being formed. This information was given by the director of the department on affairs of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North of Yamal Nina Sotruyeva to journalists. According to her words, the department conducts work with the delegates of Yamal, is preparing prizes and presents. In total 500 participants are being expected, 35 delegates from public organizations of indigenous peoples will participate from the side of Yamal.
In the opinion of Inna Sotruyeva, activities, which will become the basis of legislative initiatives, normative and legal acts called to solve problems outlined in the final resolution should become the results of the forum.
