“Yamal LNG” concluded the contract with “Siemens” on technical maintenance of equipment

“Yamal LNG” and the company “Siemens” in Russia signed the contract on technical maintenance of equipment for the electric power station of the plant on production of liquefied natural gas. Maintenance being fulfilled directly by the manufacturer of eight gas turbines guarantees uninterrupted electric power supply of objects of “Yamal LNG”.

The concluded contract provides for the phased increase in localization of servicing of the gas turbines, training of the customer’s personnel, creation of simulators and training programs. Also it is planned to connect the gas turbines to the center for remote monitoring of technical state of the equipment made by Siemens located in Moscow, as the press-service of the company informs.
The specific feature of the maintenance contract of “Yamal LNG” is in so, that the customer took a decision on technical maintenance of the equipment for the plant on production of liquefied natural gas for the entire passport period of operation of the turbines of the electric power station.
Signing of the maintenance agreement is a next stage in development of cooperation of the sides, as the president of the company “Siemens” in Russia Dietrich Möller says. He thanked the colleagues for the great collaborative work done in the latest two years. The companies demonstrated willingness to work together in order to resolve complex technological tasks. Successive localization of technical maintenance will ensure safe operation of the electric power station with equipment made by “Siemens”, as he notes.
