The days of Yamal will take place in Dusseldorf this year

The complex presentation of the region “The days of Yamal in Dusseldorf” will take place in October of 2017. This information was given on the 17th of March by a deputy governor of Yamal, the director of the department of international and external economic relations Alexander Mazharov in Salekhard.

He spoke on the report for last year and told about the plans within the open extended sitting of the public council of the specialized department. As he notes, close cooperation of public organizations of the region with associations of Dusseldorf in Germany was formed. The performance of the dancing ensemble “Severnoye Siyaniye” (Northern Lights) will become a cultural component of the presentation.
The project of Yamal “Kara Sea Expeditions” will be continued this year. Memory trips for veterans, cadets, schoolchildren to towns-heroes of Russia and the CIS countries and also long-term projects on memorial cooperation for support of memory about combat brotherhood of peoples will take place traditionally. The international scientific conference “Arctic Archeology” will take place in Salekhard in October.
In the year of ecology it is planned to conduct activities, including the international scientific conference “Ecological researches in the Arctic” and the All-Russian ecological forum “The Polar Land” initiated by the ecological and sociological public organization “Green Arctic”.
