Yamal suggests coming back to the issue of state regulation of turnover of unossified antlers and endocrine products of reindeer husbandry. This information was given by the first deputy governor of Yamal Aleksey Sitnikov on the plenary session of the congress of reindeer herders in Yakutia.
According to his words, this topic is important for all reindeer-herding regions of the country. He spoke about necessity of state standards. Speaking on deep processing of products of reindeer husbandry, Aleksey Sitnikov notes that during the latest 10 years the level of sales of venison from Yamal to countries of the EU ten times increased: from a testing consignment in 50 tonnes to 500 tonnes being sent abroad this year, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. Products of Yamal are exported to Germany, Sweden and Finland.
