Groups on preparation for school will be opened in Yamal for little nomads

The action “Prepare for school” was started in Yamalskiy, Priuralskiy, Purovskiy, Nadymskiy and Tazovskiy districts of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Schools and kindergartens will organize groups of preparation for school for children on locations of nomadic camps on rural territories till the first of October. The action is being conducted within the roadmap of fulfillment of the first stage of the project “Children of the Arctic. Preschool education”, as the department of education of Yamal informs. Under the aegis of the Federation agency for affairs of nationalities of Russia it is fulfilled in 5 arctic regions: Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Republic of Komi, Archangelsk Oblast.
Besides, activities on career guidance were organized for pupils of the 7th-10th forms, who had passed through the elective thematic courses “Pedagogue of nomadic school”. The activities will take place in the form of social practices on locations of traditional residence of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North.
