Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug was included to the best ten regions inculcating innovations in schools.
The index of innovative educational ecosystem of Russian regions was prepared by the results of the research of the institute of education of the Higher School of Economics. Beside Yamal the top ten includes Moscow, Tyumen Oblast, Leningrad Oblast, Murmansk Oblast, Kaliningrad Oblast and Novgorod Oblast, the Republic of Udmurtia, Saint-Petersburg and Yaroslavl Oblast.
The scientific director of the Institute of education Isak Frumin explains that the compiled index shows what conditions exist for receiving of qualitative education in different regions of the country: what this system is in general and on specific groups of indexes. They analyzed four groups of indexes of development of general and additional education formed on the basis of statistical data by the number of young pedagogues teaching children on individual educational plans. They considered providing of schools with modern equipment and high speed internet access, level of development of electronic and distance learning and also availability of modern educational programs for children up to three years old and technical programs for schoolchildren, as ria.ru reports. All the regions were divided into three groups: innovative, developing and basic.
Innovative regions already created the modern educational ecosystem. They are leaders, which have models of development of educational infrastructure that can become a guideline for other regions of the country. Their efforts have already given results. These are examples of successful contribution of the regions to their future and to the future of the whole country, as Isak Frumin says.
