Yamal will present its project on China-Russia Expo in Harbin

Regions of Ural Federal Okrug will present 11 investment projects on China-Russia EXPO, which will take place in Harbin on the 15th-19th of June.
The plenipotentiary envoy of the President of the Russian Federation in Ural Federal Okrug Igor Kholmanskikh will welcome the participants before the presentation of all 6 regions. Personal negotiations of businesspeople of the two countries will take place on this day. This information was given to TASS in the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Sverdlovsk Oblast will present 5 projects, Chelyabinsk and Tyumen regions – two each, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug – one project and Kurgan Oblast – one project. The first China-Russian EXPO took place in Harbin in 2014. The exhibition area made 86 thousand square meters. More than 2700 Russian and Chinese stands were placed there. Last year China-Russia EXPO took place in Yekaterinburg. More than 2300 Chinese businesspeople from 16 provinces arrived to the exhibition. 28 agreements on the total sum 53 milliard rubles were signed on the forum. This year Kurgan Oblast, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug will participate in the EXPO for the first time.
