Patients thank medical employees of Yamal for their careful attention

On the 18th of June medical employees of Yamal celebrated their professional holiday – the Day of the Medical Worker. 15 thousand 236 people work in the regional system of health care: 2459 physicians, 6674 representatives of medium-grade medical personnel, 2258 — junior medical personnel and 3845 — other personnel. The main guidelines in the regional health care system include: improvement of demographic situation and human longevity of population, improvement of quality and accessibility of medical help, provision of medicaments.

Health care in Yamal is provided in 8 medical and 15 medical-obstetrical posts, 14 out-patient clinics, 22 different district hospitals. People of Yamal can also receive medical services in five urban and two central urban hospitals, the regional clinical hospital, three dental policlinics, four ambulance stations, five clinical dispensaries, the tuberculosis hospital and the psychiatric hospital.
The regional AIDS-center works in Noyabrsk, the child care center — in Tyumen, the regional center for medical prevention — in Nadym. The perinatal center was included into the central urban hospital in Noyabrsk on the 1st of March of 2016. The oncology and vascular centers were created within the regional clinical hospital. All medical organizations are connected to information systems; working places are equipped with computers. The network of telemedicine was organized on the basis of the department of health care of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and its 27 subordinated agencies to use methods of remote rendering of medical services. The infrastructure formed in the region is ready for inclusion into the multilevel telemedicine network under the Ministry for health care of the Russian Federation. A mobile version of the service was introduced in September last year. It allows patients to make an appointment to visit a doctor with use of mobile devices and tablet computers.
Residents of remote areas are provided with full primary medical, sanitary and specialized care. 12 mobile medical units — eight general and four for preventive medical examinations — were organized in the region to increase availability of primary medical and sanitary help to rural and nomadic population.
The region keeps the guaranteed level of pharmaceutical provision of population, according to the territorial program of state guarantees. Activities and programs on preferential provision of medicaments for separate categories of population are fulfilled, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. Today more than 100 thousand people receive social support on provision of medicaments at the expenses of the regional budget.
Activities on forming of the healthy lifestyle are conducted. Specialists of preventive medicine conduct individual consultations, classes in thematic health schools, lectures, seminars and trainings. Physicians develop sanitary bulletins. Memos, brochures, booklets and leaflets are prepared for population. Websites operate and are updated actively in medical institutions of the region. Actions, quizzes, exhibitions, contests, round tables and conferences are conducted. Eleven medical institutions of the region have the telephone emergency service on issues of prevention from diseases, including prevention from tobacco, alcohol, narcotic and psychotropic addictions. The coordinating council for intra-departmental and interdepartmental collaboration conducts the large-scale information and communication campaign on forming of the healthy lifestyle. Municipal interdepartmental coordinating councils on forming of the healthy lifestyle were created in Nadym, Noviy Urengoy, Gubkinskiy, Labytnangi, Yamalskiy and Krasnoselkoup districts.
The regional action “Thank You, Doctor” confirmed high assessment of quality of work of medical employees in Yamal. More than 1600 thanks to doctors and nurses for their professionalism, responsibility and careful attention were received from people of Yamal.
