Deputies and officials will go to tundra to write the People’s program of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North

The People’s program of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North till 2022 will be elaborated in Yamal by the instruction of the governor Dmitry Kobylkin. The sitting of the working group, which includes regional deputies and heads of specialized departments, took place in Salekhard on the 20th of June.
Inhabitants themselves will form the People’s program. In order to hear people’s opinions, deputies and officials will go to the most remote settlements. The new document will reflect such directions as health care, education, house building, fulfillment of social projects, development of agro-industrial complex, support of young specialists and education of young scientists.
All activities of the People’s program should be directed to development of remote settlements, improvement of population’s life. It needs to consider experience and the best projects being fulfilled in districts, as the speaker of the Yamal parliament Sergey Yamkin says.
It is clear that there is much work ahead: to collect suggestions of population on improvement of people’s life, to connect them with potential of the budget and the strategy of socioeconomic development of the region and also to conduct the revision of the acting federal and regional legislation. It is planned that the People’s program of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North – 2022 will be formed already this year.
As we should note, earlier Dmitry Kobylkin conducted working meetings with heads of districts, who reported about issues important for inhabitants of national settlements: provision with housing, quality of drinking water, prices for food products and medicaments, tariffs for communal services.
