From Murmansk to Chukotka. Regions will study experience of Yamal on deliveries of venison

The department of agro-industrial complex, trade and foodstuff of Yamal took part in the videoconference of the Ministry of agriculture dedicated to development of processing of reindeer husbandry products in regions.
All reindeer-herding regions of the country — from Murmansk to Chukotka participated in it. Their representatives reported about current state of processing base, its material and technical equipment, production capacity and problems in processing. At that, the federal ministry specially marked work of some of the subjects.
The Ministry recommended studying carefully experience of Yamal in deliveries of reindeer meat to foreign countries. Today only the Republic of Komi provides them in addition to Yamal. As we should remind, since 2008 the enterprise “Yamalskiye Oleni” (Yamal reindeer) has sent more than 3000 tonnes of reindeer meat to Sweden, Germany and Finland. During this time exports ten times increased. Output of finished products — sausages and ready-to-cook foods continues increasing. In total they make more than 100 titles. Leading specialists of the enterprise passed training in the educational center of the Sami region in Finland. The participants of the sitting were also recommended to pay special attention on experience of Yamal in education of personnel for work on high-tech production.
The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is the leader in deep processing of reindeer husbandry products in Russia; production of biologically active supplements and cosmetic products of endocrine-enzyme raw materials and also items made of reindeer pelts and skin was established there. Meat is mostly processed in Yamal, partially — antler raw materials and blood, as the regional department of agro-industrial complex, trade and foodstuff of Yamal informs. At that, potential of the branch is much more serious, the regional government works on the program for fulfillment of projects of deep processing, including through foreign investments.
