In Innopolis roboticists from Yamal will present automation of the climate control system

The representatives of Yamal are participating in the All-Russian Olympiad of robots and in the Russian final of the World Olympiad of robots (WRO) in Innopolis.

They are the winners of the third regional robotics competitions — pupils of the center for children’s creativity Arseniy Voyevodin, Ekaterina Maramygina and Kirill Maramygin, Mikhail Kondratenko and a student of the fourth school Yevgeniy Moyseyenko from Nadymskiy district, as nadymregion.ru reports. They will compete in the free category in the nominations “Localization: map”, “Manipulator: sorting” and in the creative category — the presentation of the project “Automation of the climate control system for the buildings of educational institutions”. The best teams from the whole country, who passed through qualifying competitions in their regions, are invited to the national stage in Innopolis. The competitions within the World Robot Olympiad are ones of the largest international events of educational robotics. WRO has been conducted for the fourteenth time; the final competitions unite more than 60 thousand participants worldwide at the age from 8 to 19 years. “Robots for sustainable development” is the theme of 2017. The winners of the Olympiad will participate in the World Robot Olympiad, the finals of which will take place in Costa Rica from the 10th to the 12th of November, as edurobots.ru informs.
