A sports shooter Denis Sokolov from Yamal won the golden medal on the championship of Russia

 The sportsman from Yamal Denis Sokolov won the golden medal on the championship of Russia on shooting from small-bore weapons in individual ranking. The competitions are taking place in the Podmoskovny shooting complex “Lis’ya Nora” (the Fox Lodge).

According to the information given to a correspondent of the news agency “Sever-Press” in the board on physical culture and sport at the administration of Noyabrsk, the first medals were received in the exercise “The small-bore rifle, shooting from the prone position at the distance of 50 meters”. By the results of the competitions, the sportsman from Noyabrsk, the honored master of sports of Russia Denis Sokolov became the winner. In the qualifying stage he showed the best result 622.2 points, and in the final – 251.2 and won the confident victory. Aleksey Yurkov from Noyabrsk is his coach.
The competitions are being continued. The national team of Russia will be formed by the results for participation in the European championship, which will take place from the 21st of July to the 8th of August in Baku.
