“Petersburg Policy” gives 8.3 points to socioeconomic policy of Yamal

The Foundation “Petersburg Policy” confirmed the rating of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug on the level of the previous month – 8.3 points.
According to the version of the Foundation, the following regions are in the list of the leading subjects — Mordovia, Tomsk, Belgorod, Tyumen, Kaluga, Leningrad and Magadan regions, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
Among positive events that confirmed the high score of Yamal there are the following: the conference with participation of the governor of the region Dmitry Kobylkin and the minister for transport of the Russian Federation Maksim Sokolov on fulfillment of the project of the Northern Latitudinal Railway, signing of the agreement on further work on development of the North-Komsomolskoye oil field between the affiliated enterprises of Rosneft and the Norwegian Statoil. Besides, opening of the new thermal electric power station in Tazovskiy and the educational center “Evrika” in Muravlenko were marked.
As we should remind, the rating of the Foundation “Petersburg Policy” has been published since autumn of 2012 every month. The experts of the Foundation evaluate the level of socio-political stability in all Russian regions on the ten-point scale.
The regions are divided into 5 categories according to the degree of socio-political stability and classified within their category according to dynamics of the rating for the latest month.
