In spring of 2015 within medical examination before school medical employees found that Yegor had a neoplasm in retroperitoneal space.
In May of 2015 he was taken to Dmitry Rogachev National Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology. The diagnosis was set — neuroblastoma.
Yegor passed through 8 blocks of chemotherapy, surgery, bone marrow transplant. In December of 2015 Yegor with his mom came back to Gubkinskiy to continue treatment at home.
But in May of 2017 the disease returned. Yegor again is passing through medical treatment. He had two neurosurgical operations done, a course of radiation therapy. Doctors consider the prognosis for life of Yegor as extremely unfavorable. The boy was prescribed palliative chemotherapy with the duration of 12 courses. Six have already passed.
In Russia ways of treatment of his illness are exhausted. The boy’s parents sent the medical documents to hospitals abroad. The American Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, one of the world’s leaders in treatment of neuroblastoma, agreed to take Yegor for treatment.
Collection of money is open again. Parents of Yegor are asking for help. Collection of monetary funds is fulfilled also through the charitable foundation “Yamine”.
